The process revolves around the two times a month when Van comes to the valley. He is a traveling merchant, and if you’ve played any other Story of Seasons game, you’re likely familiar with him. Van sells special items you cannot get anywhere else. In A Wonderful Life, he carries the Fishing Rod in his stock for a cost of 500 gold. As time goes on, Van expands his merchandise to sell things like goats, so make sure to check in during his visits. He always comes around on days 3 and 8 of each month.
How to sell fish in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life
After getting the fishing rod, you can use it on the river, the ocean, or the pond to get different kinds of fish. Larger ones sell for more, and smaller ones sell for less. You can also use the fish in cooking recipes such as Cobb Salad and as gifts to the villagers. Since you can’t sell them in your shipping bin, you have to sell them to Van. Van always takes anything you can’t put there such as fossils, flowers, etc. The general rule of thumb here is that you can’t sell anything in the shipping bin that did not come from your farm.
