How to Get The Mastermune in Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition

The Mastermune, as mentioned above, is Serge’s ultimate weapon in Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition and one of the most powerful in the game. This weapon not only comes with a 100% Critical Hit rate, meaning that all of Serge’s attacks will be more powerful than usual, but it also heals some of Serge’s HP each turn.

To get the Mastermune, you will have to make some progress in the game first, and get to the point where you are tasked to recover the relics all over El Nido. Once this quest has started, you will have to head to the Forbidden Island in Home World and speak with Dario, who will ask you to get a memento from Viper Manor. Head to the Manor with Norris in your party, recover the memento, and then speak again with Dario to fight him. After defeating him, Serge’s equipped weapon will turn into the Mastermune, making the character even more one of the strongest in the entire game.
