How to Get the Mermaid Outfit in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

There are some super cute outfits to find and wear in Hello Kitty Island Adventure but none as wonderful as the mermaid outfit! Not only is it fit for any mer-king or mer-queen, but it also helps the wearer dive deeper and swim further than they could with just a snorkel. Let’s explore the exact locations of each piece of the mermaid outfit in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Mermaid Outfit Location

Before you can find the pieces to the mermaid outfit you will have to learn how to dive and swim. This means getting or crafting the Flippers and Snorkel. It is also recommended that you get some Stamina Apples to upgrade your Stamina, letting you swim underwater for a bit longer. Once you are ready with your Flippers, Snorkel, and upgraded Stamina, you can go in search of each Mermaid Outfit piece.

The Mermaid Outfit comes in three pieces: Tiara, Tail, and Armor. When you find all three you can put them on by tapping your Phone icon and then the clothing icon. Select the piece you like and tap Wear to put it on. If you wear the entire Mermaid outfit, you get a boost to your diving capabilities!

Unlike other pieces of clothing, these are floating in the sea water just waiting to be collected. Fast Travel to the Comedy Club, or dive down off the pier near Chococat’s tent if you haven’t activated it yet. The first piece to collect is the Teal Scale Mermaid Tiara. This one is located just west of the Comedy Club near some boulders. Tap the hand icon to grab it and stash it in your inventory.

The next piece to collect is the Teal Scale Mermaid Armor which can be found as you head southwest from the Comedy Club, on an underwater path. Tap the hand icon to pick it up and store it in the inventory.

Finally, the tail! No mermaid look is complete without a fishy tail so you will need this piece of the costume to finalize the look. Find the Purple Scale Mermaid Tail to the east of the Comedy Club, amongst rocks and coral just off the shoreline. If you have trouble finding it, look at the map and see where the path breaks to the left of Spooky Swamp. The tail is further left that point in the water. Tap the hand icon to get the tail and add it to your inventory.

Once you have this Hello Kitty Island Adventure mermaid outfit you can actually wear it in and out of the water. When you are walking on land it will look like pants, but when you enter the water it will magically transform into a tail again!
