The Sacred Relic Sword is arguably one of the best weapons in Elden Ring—no wonder when it was wrought from the remains of a god. However, if you were hoping to get your hands on this powerful sword early in the game, you will be disappointed.
Such power comes as a reward only to those who persevere in the ultimate challenges, and our guide explains how to get the Sacred Relic Sword in Elden Ring with all the details you will need.
What to Do to Get the Sacred Relic Sword in Elden Ring
The Sacred Relic Sword is obtainable only after you defeat the game’s final boss—or bosses, that is. Once you set the final act of the Elden Ring story in motion by lighting the Forge and setting the Erdtree on fire, the game will take you to the Elden Throne.
Here, you will need to fight Radagon of the Golden Order first. As soon as you defeat him, the Elden Beast will show up, and you will have to defeat this final boss to acquire the Sacred Relic Sword. You can even see it in the boss’s hand, but getting the sword in your hands is not so straightforward—even when you slay the Elden Beast (which is going to be a challenge, so come prepared).
How to Find the Sacred Relic Sword in Elden Ring
So, you’ve defeated the Elden Beast, but the only thing dropped is the Elden Remembrance, which might leave you scratching your head in confusion.
At this point, you need to go to the Roundtable Hold and interact with the Finger Reader Enia. You will be able to exchange the Elden Remembrance for Marika’s Hammer or Sacred Relic Sword. Keep in mind that the sword also requires 20,000 runes.
And there you have it! You should be able to equip this powerful sword now and start farming runes!
