How To Get Wadatsumi Magatama In Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster features tons of customization options that let players create the perfect party to take on most of the powerful demons that have been unleashed in Tokyo at the beginning of the game. Demon Fusion, however, isn’t the only mechanic that lets players customize their characters, as by using Magatama, it is possible to make the Demi-Fiend learn new skills and receive some welcome stats enhancements.

How To Get The Wadatsumi Magatama In Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster

Wadatsumi is one of the Magatama you will receive fairly early in the game. To get it, you will have to defeat Forneus in the Shinjuku Medical Center. As this is a mandatory boss battle, you will receive this Magatama as you progress through the game.

As opposed to the Marogareh Magatama, the Wadatsumi Magatama is mostly focused on Magic. By equipping it, you will receive a +3 bonus in Magic, +2 in Vitality and Agility, and a +1 in Luck. A permanent +1 Magic bonus can also be obtained if you let the Magatama continue when it is acting violently.

Wadatsumi Skills

The Wadatsumi Magatama lets you learn a variety of ice-elemental skills, as well as the ever-useful Mana Bonus passive skill which raises Max MP by 10%, a great skill to have even if you’re not playing a magic-focused build. With its focus on the ice element, equipping Wadatsumi will make the Demi-Fiend null ice elemental attacks, but it will also make him weak to Electricity.

Wadatsumi learns the following skills:

Ice Breath – 9 MP – Low ice damage to random targets
Mana Bonus – Passive – Increases max MP by 10%
Fog Breath – 30 MP – Considerably lowers all enemies’ Agility
Anti-Ice – Passive – Lowers ice damage received by 50%
Ice Boost – Passive – Increases ice elemental damage dealt by 50%
