Halfway through, at rank 20, you learn how to make a Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler, which allows you to harvest those souls from might elementals.

• Everburning Blasting Powder x3
• Greased-Up Gears x3

If you manage to do that, you get an Encaged (elemental) Soul. Now, be patient and wait 15 minutes for the Encaged Soul to become a Docile Soul. When that happens, open it and you will receive Fiery, Airy, Earthen, or Frosty Soul, depending on the type of elemental you fought.
