Then, the only way players could get a code for Zarude in Pokemon Sword and Shield was to sign up for the official Pokémon Trainers Club Newsletter. This is also what they’re doing currently for the code distribution of Dada Zarude from the new film.

Getting Zarude in Pokémon Go

Since its release to Pokémon Sword and Shield, the Mythical Rogue Monkey Pokémon has now made its way to Pokémon Go as well, and in this article we’ll be guiding you on how to get Zarude in Pokemon Go.

In order to get Zarude, players will have to complete the brand new Search for Zarude Special Research that’s available in Pokémon Go. Before you can get this Special Research, you’ll need to play the game between October 1 at 10 am local time and October 10 at 8 am local time.

If you have the research itself, then you don’t need to complete it during this time frame. However, it’s pretty easy to complete the Search for Zarude Special Research since it’s made up of merely five steps for you to complete. Once completed, you’ll be rewarded with Zarude at the conclusion of the fourth step.

Upon reaching the step to encounter Zarude, you’ll need to catch it as you always do. You can only use Poke Balls to try and catch Mythical Pokémon. Simply keep throwing and you’ll definitely catch a Zarude eventually.
