The nearly endless world of Minecraft is filled with a plethora of unique mobs. Players can find mobs almost everywhere in the game. A few mobs are available in multiple variants, such as frogs, axolotls, zombies, and horses. Some players might not be aware of the different horse variants, such as skeleton horses and zombie horses. This guide talks about zombie horses and how to get one in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
What is Zombie Horse and How to Get it in Minecraft?
There are three variants of horse in Minecraft: regular horse, skeleton horse, and zombie horse. While both regular horses and skeleton horses can spawn naturally in the game, the zombie horse is an unused variant and doesn’t spawn anywhere. Even though it is an unused mob, a zombie horse can still be spawned using a spawn egg.
In creative mode, players can find spawn eggs of all Minecraft mobs. Using spawn eggs, players can summon any mob in the game. The only way to get a zombie horse is by using a zombie horse spawn egg.
If you have never been to Minecraft creative mode or used a spawn egg, follow these steps to spawn a zombie in Minecraft Bedrock Edition:
- Load a Minecraft world.
- Go to Settings.
- Change the gamemode to Creative.
- Open your inventory and go to the search page.
- Enter “zombie horse” and get the zombie horse spawn egg.
- Tap the spawn egg on the ground to get a zombie horse
Like its name says, a zombie horse is a zombified variant of a regular horse in Minecraft. They have green skin like zombies and drop rotten flesh when killed. It also has the qualities of horses. Players can mount zombie horses and use a saddle to control the horse’s direction.
Zombie horses are an interesting variant of horses in Minecraft. Hopefully, Mojang will add them officially in the future. If you have questions about zombie horses, feel free to ask in the comments!
