Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity

How To Heal in Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity

During Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity, Link, Zelda and all the other heroes will face countless enemies that want nothing more than hurting our heroes to prevent them from saving Hyrule. Little do the hordes of Moblins know that our heroes can heal themselves to continue their fight against the evil that threatens the land.

Our heroes do know that they can heal, but do you know how to do so effeciently? If not, you have come to the right place. Here’s how to heal in Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity and how to always be able to do so, even during battle.

How to Heal

Healing in Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity is done in two different ways. The most straightforward way of healing is by picking up the apples found around the battlefields. These apples are dropped randomly by enemies: the bigger they are, the higher are the chances they will drop apples. So, if you’re in dire need of healing, move to where enemies are: there’s a good chance you will be able to obtain a few apples that will let you keep fighting for longer.

Even if you’re health is full, you will still want to collect as many apples as you can to fill the Food Gauge.

Food Gauge

The Food Gauge represents your emergency healing option for when you cannot find any apples around. The gauge is filled by picking apples when the health is full, so you may want to look into farming apples if you feel like you will need a full Food Gauge to clear any given quest or challenge. To access the Food Gauge, all you need to do is press the L button and then the B button to heal.

Cooking

Unlike in Breath of the Wild, cooked food cannot be used for healing, which should not come as a surprise, since you can only eat food before entering the field. Food, however, still grants a variety of bonuses, so you will still want to prepare the best recipes to conquer all of the game’s toughest challenges with ease.
