Healing is extremely important in any role-playing game, and even more so in a game like Persona 5 Strikers. The change from turn-based combat to action combat made healing even more important, as you need to know how to do so effectively and as quickly as possible to make it out of every Jail alive.
So, how do you do this exactly? Let us find out!
How To Heal In Persona 5 Strikers
Persona Skills
Most of your healing in Persona 5 Strikers comes from Persona Skills. The Dia family of spells restores different amounts of HPs, so you should always make sure to bring party members whose Personas knows any of these spells. Also, do not forget that Joker can switch between different Personas, so it is a good idea to have at least one with healing capabilities.
As far as the other party members go, Mona and Sophie are the best healers of the cast. But if you want more balance between healing and offensive capabilities, you can choose between Panther, Queen, and Noir: their healing capabilities are not as great as those of Mona and Sophie, but their better offense make them a better choice if you think you can handle healing just fine by switching Personas with Joker.
Items
In case you are out of SP, you must resort to items to healing in combat. These items can be purchased in shops all over, so make sure to stock up before heading into any Jail. SP healing items are way harder to come by, so you should not rely on SP-powered skills to heal too much. In addition, always make sure to cook any HP restoring dish at the hideout
In case you like healing HP with items, also make sure to level up the Medic Bond Skill, which increases the effectiveness of healing items.
Auto Recover
Auto Recover is an extremely useful option that makes its comeback from Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, but it can only be used outside of battle. To use it, press down on the directional pad to heal automatically by spending SP.
Bond Skills
Select Bond Skills can also provide some healing if the right condition is met. Oracle Recovery restores a small amount of HP and SP at the end of each battle, while the Ambusher skill restores HP with any successful ambush. As ambushing is the way to engage enemies, you should learn this skill as soon as you can to save as many SP and healing items as possible.
