Mr. Handy, the sarcastic but useful robot in Fallout Shelter, can be put to use on any floor of the shelter, or explore the Wasteland looking for Caps. No wonder they call him handy. Unfortunately for Mr. Handy, he can get damaged and even destroyed while protecting the shelter.
If you are looking at a decidedly unhealthy Mr. Handy in your shelter you will want to find out how to heal Mr. Handy in Fallout Shelter, so read on to find out what you can do.
Can You Heal Mr. Handy in Fallout Shelter?
Mr. Handy is such a great robot to have around as he can be assigned to any floor to collect resources (this option can also be turned off), and he defends that floor against invaders. He is equipped with a spinning blade and a flame thrower, which may not be super powerful but they cause some damage.

Putting himself in harm’s way means he will sustain damage, as you have probably found out by now! Poor Mr. Handy will not be wandering the floor looking a little sorry for himself. If you have a Mr. Handy or two who have low health there is nothing much that can be done. No Stimpaks work on a robot, and there is no way to get him back to full health. He can only be repaired once he is completely destroyed, but that costs 2K Caps! Not exactly cheap and perhaps not worth it, sorry Mr. Handy.
The best thing to do with a Mr. Handy who has seen better days and is suffering from low HP is to send him out into the Wasteland to collect Caps. Out there he cannot be damaged any further and just spends the rest of his days bringing home extra Caps for you to spend. Still pretty handy!
How to Get More Mr. Handys
If you decide to scrap your broken Mr. Handy and need to replace him there is a chance you can find one in a Lunchbox which can be unlocked as a reward or purchased with real money in the Fallout Shelter Shop. Single or packs of Mr. Handys can also be purchased from the Shop with real cash if you want to be guaranteed a new shiny robot for your shelter.

If you want to keep your Mr. Handy as a collection robot only, moving him away from the danger would protect him from being damaged. Just tap and drag him to a clear floor and he will be none the wiser, and will live another day being as handy as Mr. Handy can be.
Now you have found out about healing Mr. Handy, find out how to heal the rest of your shelter dwellers in Fallout Shelter.
