The Elder Scrolls Online‘s update 37 adds a new cosmetic option to make shoulders invisible, but you’ll have to get it first. Today, we’ll explain everything in our character customization guide on how to hide shoulders in The Elder Scrolls Online!

Unlocking the hide shoulders cosmetic collectible in The Elder Scrolls Online

Hide Shoulders is a cosmetic collectible that allows you to—you guessed it—hide your shoulders from appearing. If you’re trying to aim for a specific appearance on your character, you might find this option handy.

However, hiding your shoulder armor isn’t as simple as checking an option in the settings. Since Hide Shoulders is an actual cosmetic collectible, that means you’ll need to obtain it first.

To acquire the Hide Shoulders cosmetic collectible, you’ll need to purchase it from the Impresario event vendor. As the name implies, the Impresario vendor only appears during limited-time seasonal events.

Once you have the Hide Shoulders cosmetic collectible unlocked, head to your nearest Outfit Station. Select Armor Styles, then Shoulders, and then apply the Hide Shoulders style to your shoulder armor to render them invisible.

When there’s an event active, the Impresario will appear outside the following major cities:

  • Glenumbra: Daggerfall
  • Stonefalls: Davon’s Watch
  • Auridon: Vulkhel Guard

The Impresario contains a variety of goods that can only be bought during the event period. Starting with update 37, the Impresario will now carry the Hide Shoulders cosmetic collectible.

To know when the next limited-time event is coming, be sure to keep an eye on the official The Elder Scrolls Online event calendar.
