There are a huge number of mods for Dead by Daylight. And many of them affect the visual part of the game, for example, they allow playing not as survivors, but as characters from Mario. But it is worth noting that the use of any mods can be dangerous. There are many cases where players’ accounts have been banned for using mods.

First, you need to download a special launcher to use mods. You will need 65 GB of free space. We recommend downloading it on an SSD as this will unpack the launcher faster.

Then, after downloading the launcher, you must run the unpacker. In the window that opens, you need to enter the path where Dead by Daylight is located. You can find out the path by right-clicking on the game in steam and selecting Browse local files. Once you have entered the path, you will need to wait for the launcher to extract everything you need.

After unpacking, you need to run a file called MBD launcher. It is located in the same folder as the launcher. And you’re done. Now you only need to download the archive with the mod and transfer the folder from the archive to the folder with Dead by Daylight. The system should prompt you to replace an existing file with that name. If this alert appears, then you have moved the file to the correct folder. Now just run the game through the MBD launcher and enjoy the game.
