Bitlife allows you pick dozens of career path and joining the Mafia is one of them. It can prove quite the challenge when trying to join the Mafia, especially when you can’t outrun the cops.

When ready to join the Mafia, your character must be atleast 18 years old. If they’re not 18 yet, you can use this time to commit crimes before they reach 18. And the consequences of their crimes is a lot easier to overlook if they’re below 18. Your character should commit up to five crimes as it’s a requirement that’s set for all crime families in Bitlife.

One you’ve completed that requirement and have reached the age of 18, head over to the occupation tab in the game and click on the ‘special careers’ option. You’ll find that the Mafia families is listed there. You can then join any of the six types of criminal families:

The Irish Mob

The Latin Mafia

The Mafia

The Russian Mob

The Triad

The Yakuza

In some cases, especially for players who have very high crime rates, they’ll be approached by one of these Mafia families and they’ll be asked to join, but this rarely happens. It is pretty much easier to complete the five crime requirements at the age of 18 and then joining the family.

If you get turned down after your request, simply commit more crimes and try again. You’ll eventually be taken in as a member of the family.
