How to Air Dribble Longer

First off, how do you even get the ball off the ground? The easiest way is to bounce the ball, then slide underneath it and get it on the roof of your car. Tilt up and forward, then jump and boost into the air. You should launch into the sky with the ball above you, and you can boost forward to carry the ball.

One thing we highly recommend doing is enabling the boosted jump button. Normally, if you jump and boost at the same time by pressing both buttons, you’ll pull off a boosted jump, but this can be a little awkward to pull off. Go into the game settings and go to the Control Customization. You should see a red button – this is the currently disabled boosted jump button. Tap on it and then enable it, which will give you a much easier way to perform boosted jumps!

With boosted jumps, you should now be able to get off the ground a lot faster. Once you’re in the air, you’ll have to time your boosts well so that you don’t blow through all of your fuel at once. Move your car along the air with the ball, making sure to not let it get too far away from you. Remember that you still have your double jump/flip, in case you need to a quick boost in a specific direction.

At the end of the day, you’ll just need to practice your air dribbling. When you want to refine your midair control, head into the training and just practicing taking the ball across the fields. Utilize everything you’ve learned about so far – spins, boosted jumps, flips – to carry the ball for as long as you can.
