How to craft candles in Minecraft?

Before moving forward, it’s crucial to know about the candle’s recipe in Minecraft. To craft a candle, players will need 1x String and 1x Honeycomb. After acquiring these items, open the 3×3 crafting table grid.

Finally, place 1 string in the middlebox of the first row and 1 honeycomb in the middlebox of the second row in the 3×3 crafting grid.

That’s it. After following the above instructions, the candle will appear in the right box. Once it’s crafted, drag it to your inventory to use it.

How to light up candles in Minecraft?

Unlike torches or campfires, candles in Minecraft would not light up automatically. Therefore, players will need a fire source to light them. While there are a number of ways to light a candle in Minecraft, the direct and easiest method is to use flint and steel.

Users will require an Iron Ingot and Flint to craft Flint and Steel. Once they obtain the required ingredients, open the 3×3 crafting table and place 1 iron ingot and 1 flint in the grid. The Iron Ingot should be placed in the first box of the first row. At the same time, the flint will go in the middlebox of the second row.
