How to Make Night in Theotown

TheoTown is a building game, it offers the possibility to build and manage your city. The main goal is to build a small town up into a big megapolis. Also, there still is a possibility to manage more than 1 town at the same time, so that you will be able to make transport communications such as an aircraft livery, bus routes, and your own rail network. But not only this, you can design the relief yourself. However, you also have to cope with some natural disasters, and crime (despite you having an opportunity to move your citizens). What is fun is that you can put all world wonders like the Statue of Liberty or Big Ben in the same city, making them look good.

How to Set the Day&Night Cycle in Theotown

In the current version of the game, you can simply enable the day cycle mode in-game. To do it, go to the settings and pick the “Game” category when you can have this done. However, this option completely turns off the lights at night, and it makes object editing hard. So there are some other ways how to make the night.

1. Add lights to some windows like you put smoke on buildings, this will take some time but it is better than making night frames.
2. Go to the tools and download the “Plugin Creator tools” in the plugin store. After that, you will be able to build a Day\Night building and change the time of the day manually by clicking on a building.
