In order to keep weight off, Sims have to burn more calories than they consume, so make sure you put equipment in their homes that they can use for cardio training such as a treadmill. Besides using that, they can visit the gym in town, swim in a pool, or go running to burn off calories.

Something to keep in mind when your Sims are working out is that they will never go below the settings you chose for them in character creation. For example, if you set their muscle mass to a 6, they will never go down to a 4. Remember this when you’re making characters.

How To Keep Track Of Your Sims Calories

When choosing their food, remember that some things with more calories work better than lower-calorie items in terms of keeping your Sims full longer. For example, a salad is lighter than a hamburger, but a hamburger will keep them satisfied for longer. Therefore they’ll consume fewer calories over time.

For Sims who have babies, they can lose their shape after pregnancy. To make sure they stay fit during the postpartum phase, make sure the Sim is working out during their pregnancy and in between pregnancies. Pregnant Sims can use workout equipment in their first and second trimester. If there are any kids that get chubby, they can burn off calories by using the Monkey Bars on playground equipment.

With the right conditions, pudgy Sims can easily go back down to a healthy size in no time. By following these guidelines, you’ll be able to both help them lose weight and keep it off.
