Everything That Sam Likes

To win the heart of any potential spouse, you need to know what their favorite and least liked items are. Hated items will have a negative effect on your relationship, so it’s best to avoid them at all times.
Some of Sam’s favorite items can be out of the way to track down, so if you’re looking for a spouse easy to get, he may not be for you.
- Pizza – You can purchase this from the Stardrop Saloon.
- Cactus Fruit – Found in the desert.
- Tigerseye – Found in the mines.
- Maple Bar – You need to cook this yourself. Requires sugar, maple syrup, and wheat flour.
Something else that he likes you can give him that is pretty readily available is Joja Cola.

- Summer – Sam spends a lot of time with his younger brother Vincent in the Summer. They are either usually at the beach together or near the river by their home.
- Fall – Sam can be found wandering in Cindersnap Forest in the afternoon. He will return to town around 7 pm and sleep at 9 pm.
- Winter – Sam wakes up around 10 and is usually in the Stardrop Saloon from 1:20 to 7 pm.
- Spring – He goes to his part time job at the Jojamart on Mondays and Wednesdays from the middle of the day to around 4pm. After he gets off his shift, he’ll return home around 6 pm and sleep at 9:30. On his days off, he spends the morning practicing his music before wandering around town, usually standing by Lewis’s house for a while before returning home in the early evening. On Fridays, he hangs out at the Stardrop Saloon from about 3 pm to 9 pm. He can usually be found hanging out by the museum on rainy days.
How To Marry Sam
The more you give Sam things he likes and raise his hearts, the closer you’ll get to marrying him. Some of the heart milestones have cutscene events that you need to go to certain places to see. There are ones for two hearts, three hearts, four hearts, six hearts, 8 hearts, 10 hearts and fourteen hearts. Most of them can be set off by either visiting Sam at his home or just entering into town. At 8 hearts, you can buy a bouquet to gift to him, and you will officially enter into a romantic relationship. You can propose once you get to 10 hearts with them.
To get married, you have to renovate your home once at the minimum. After you do this and you fix the bridge on the beach, you’ll be able to purchase a Mermaid’s Pendant, which is used to propose marriage to your candidate of choice. If the proposal works, you’ll get married 3 days after.
Once you are married, Sam will move in with you, and you’ll be all set! To see other potential marriage candidates in Pelican Town, give Stardew Valley a try today!
