Rasmus, the once frail and weak little boy now powered by the raw energy of Omega, has joined the Pro League in Omega Strikers. Wielding a glowing chain sickle powered by Omega energy, Rasmus’ tricky play style allows him to manipulate the positions of both players and the Core. Here is how to play as Rasmus in Omega Strikers.
Guide to playing Rasmus in Omega Strikers
Rasmus is a versatile mid-range skirmisher who excels at poking at opponents and forcing them into bad spots. His chain sickle requires precise aim but hits hard, and his special ability can pull both opponents and the core towards him! Here is a rundown of his individual abilities, and how they should be utilized.
Pendulum Swing (Primary)
- Category: Melee, Impact
- Core knockback: 1,430
- Player Knockback: 230
- Damage: 230

Rasmus swings his chain sickle from overhead in the targeted direction. Pendulum Swing has some range to it, and it also has a sweet spot—enemies hit at max range take more damage, so good positioning is required to get the most out of Pendulum Swing.
Pendulum Swing is probably his trickiest ability to use, but when utilized correctly, it can be devastating. Hitting the Core with the sweet spot sends it flying, leading to some unexpected goals.
And of course, it can be used to poke at enemy Strikers that are dancing around the Core. If you spot an enemy standing too close to the borders, whack ’em with the sweet spot for an easy knockout.
Whiplash (Secondary)
- Category: Melee, Impact, Haste
- Core knockback: 1,330
- Player Knockback: 175
- Damage: 175
Rasmus temporarily boosts his speed by 35% for 2 seconds. While the speed boost is active, Whiplash can be recast to deal light damage to nearby opponents.
Whiplash has a variety of uses, which is in line with Rasmus’ theme of being super versatile. You can use it defensively to intercept a shot that is heading straight for your goal, or you can use it offensively and catch opponents off guard by rushing the goalie.
Death Touch (Special)
- Category: Projectile
- Core knockback: 1,550
- Player Knockback: 500
- Damage: 250
Rasmus throws out his chain sickle’s anchor in the targeted direction, pulling the first Striker or Core it collides with towards Rasmus. The anchor comes out quickly initially, but slows down and expands the longer it travels.
Death Touch is the defining ability of Rasmus, and it is what makes him an absolute nightmare to play against. Similar to Rasmus’ other abilities, Death Touch has a multitude of defensive and offensive uses. Here are just a few examples of what you can do with it:
- Intercept a Core shot that is heading for your goal.
- Pull an opponent out of position, screwing up whatever plans they may have had.
- Steal the Core amidst a skirmish and line up your own shot.
With a 20-second cooldown, Death Touch should be saved for key opportunities, but do not be too conservative, as it is a shorter cooldown compared to most special abilities.
