Fans of cozy games and previous Katamari games will be excited to learn of the latest in the series: We Love Katamari Reroll and the additional feature of Royal Reverie. When the King of the Cosmos destroyed all stars in the universe, he sent his son to Earth to undo the damage done. The Prince began to roll the Katamari until it became so enormous that it would float into the sky and became the stars themselves. Let’s explore how to play We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie on all platforms.
How to Play Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie
As a cozy game Katamari Reroll is simple but engaging with a clean and bright aesthetic. The graphics have been upgraded since the last Katamari game but it has the same fun and challenging gameplay. Players are tasked with the roll of the Prince to roll the Katamari and gather objects around the world.
The objects you gather must be smaller than the Katamari so you must think carefully about what you pick up if you want to be able to gather every object possible. It is also best to go carefully, even when speeding against the clock, because if you blast into a larger object too forcefully you could lose what you have gathered!
Once your Katamari is large enough, and you have fulfilled any challenges assigned to you, your big ball of random objects will be sent to the sky and replace all the missing stars and coloring the night sky.
There is also a new feature to jump into: Royal Reverie which is included with We Love Katamari. This mode has its own story surrounding the childhood of the King and five new challenges to try and beat! Playing as the King himself you must roll around completing each challenge as it comes. Another addition to We Love Katamari is the all-new Selfie Mode where the Prince and his royal cousins can take pictures as they roll about the maps!
