While the basic game mode doesn’t let you play with friends, there is a way to set Private Matches so that you decide with which players to play with. Here’s how to.

How To Play With Friends In Pac-Man 99

Unfortunately, to be able to play with friends in Pac-Man 99 you will have to purchase DLC. The basic version of the game only includes the regular battle royale mode, and to be able to set up Private Matches you will have to purchase either the Pac-Man 99 Mode Unlock DLC or the Pac-Man 99 Deluxe Pack, which includes all the additional content currently available.

Once you have purchased either of these DLC packs, all you need to do to set up a Private Match is start the game, press the X button on the Pac-Man 99 icon and input a match password that you will need to share with your friends so that they can join your game.

To join a game set up by other players, all you will have to do is input the match password after you have pressed the X button on the main menu while the Pac-Man 99 icon is selected. Everything is more fun with friends, and the same is true for Pac-Man 99!
