Genshin Impact 1.4 update pre-download on Android and iOS platforms

There are two ways to pre-download Genshin Impact 1.4 update on Android and iOS devices. The first method is by clicking on the cloud-like icon that appears on Genshin Impact log in screen. And the second method is by navigating to Paimon’s menu –>Settings–>Others –> Pre-install resource package.

To make it more simple, here is a step-by-step guide.

Step 1.) Open Genshin Impact on your mobile device.

Step 2.) In the login menu click and download “Resource Package”, or else navigate to Paimon’s menu–> Settings–>Others –> Pre-install resource package.

Step 3.)  The Pre-installed resources will take effect automatically once the previous installation has been overwritten and the update maintenance time is over. In our case, the maintenance will take place on March 17, 2021, when Genshin Impact 1.4 update is released globally.
