Pokémon Legends: Arceus was released last month after much fanfare and hype. It is the latest installment in the Pokémon series and takes a much different turn than its predecessors do in terms of storytelling and game mechanics.
The game takes place in the ancient Hisui region, which would become modern-day Sinnoh. Fighting and capturing Pokémon is drastically different with battles taking place on the overworld instead of turn-based instance battles, as was the staple of the series thus far.
The main goal of every Pokémon game thus far has been to complete the Pokédex and it is the same in Legends: Arceus, albeit with a little twist on the original formula. In this game, catching a Pokémon isn’t enough. Since it is supposed to be the world’s first Pokédex, players will have to do a little bit more to ensure that the Pokémon’s entry is fully registered.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus introduces research tasks for every Pokémon and once the research levels are maxed out, the entry is fully registered. Today we will be focusing on Lucario and the best way to max out its research levels.
Lucario Pokédex Entries
Lucario is a Steel/Fighting-type Pokémon that evolves from Riolu when it reaches max happiness in the daytime. It can either be caught in the wild or evolved after the player catches Riolu.
To complete Lucario’s Pokédex entries, these are the tasks that can be undertaken:

Easy method to complete the Lucario Pokédex Entries
Going by these tasks, there are a few that players can do more than the others that will give them better results. Out of these tasks, the player gets 2 research levels for the following tasks:
- Number caught
- Times you’ve seen it use Aura Sphere
- Times you’ve stunned it using items
Our recommendation would be to catch the Alpha Lucario in Alabaster Icelands first. Following this, spam Aura Sphere in Agile Style while using Close Combat whenever necessary. Doing this will lead you to complete the best research tasks as quickly as possible and perfect the Pokédex entry in no time!
