The Soulsborne games are true roleplaying games that allow you to take the role of any class depending on your attributes—and the most recent entry in the genre, Elden Ring, is no exception to that.

Your attributes decide your class. Whether you chose a Prisoner, Astrologer, Warrior, or anything, in the late game, it depends where you put your Attribute points.
Sometimes you level up the wrong stat and want to respec the attributes to fix it. In this guide, we share detail on how you can reset your attributes in Elden Ring.
How to Reset Your Attributes in Elden Ring
To reset your character’s attributes—also called Respec—in Elden Ring, you have to use the Rebirth feature, unlocked when you defeat Renalla, Queen of the Full Moon.
Renalla is the main boss—and one of the Shardbearer’s—who is locked in the Grand Library of the Academy of Raya Lucaria—one of the legacy dungeons in Elden Ring.

Once you defeat Renalla, she will become non-hostile, and she will help you to Respec your attributes. Or to change the appearance of your character.
To use the Rebirth feature, you need a Larval Tear. We managed to find around ten Larval Tear in our playthrough. And they are rare and limited but easy to obtain.

Here is some Larval Tear which you find in Liurnia. We are preparing a separate guide detailing the location of every Larval Tear and how you can obtain them.
Assuming you managed to get a Larval Tear, teleport to the Grand Library Site of Grace and interact with Renalla. Select the Rebirth option—it will consume one Larval Tear—respec and finalize. If you don’t want to continue with the Respec process, you can simply opt-out at any moment.
Elden Ring is a roleplaying game currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
