How to Solve All Mine Cart Operator’s Puzzles in Honkai Star Rail

Honkai: Star Rail is choc full of different quests and activities that go way beyond just fighting the enemy that wants to bring about the end of civilization. At one point, you will have to show off your mine cart operation knowledge in a series of puzzles in the Great Mine on Jarilo-VI.

If you’re struggling with any segments of this big test, you don’t have to risk a headache. We’ve been through them all, and now we bring you a complete guide on how to solve all Mine Cart Operator’s puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail.

How to Solve Mine Cart Operator’s Puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail

You will get to mine cart operator’s puzzles during the quest called Night on the Great Mine. This quest has three parts, with each part featuring three different and progressively more difficult puzzles.

How to Complete Night on the Great Mine (Part 1) in Honkai: Star Rail

The first puzzle is fairly easy—switch the track closer to the tents, switch the other track, and then push the cart.

The second puzzle is a bit more complex:

1. You will first push the empty cart forward, then use the lever next to it to switch the tracks
2. After that, push the loaded cart, and it should go to the empty cart’s initial position
3. Use the other lever to switch tracks one more time and push the loaded cart that should now stop at the desired location
4. Use both levers one more time, push the empty cart back where it was at the beginning, switch the tracks closer to the empty cart, and finally push it to the right spot

The third puzzle is even more challenging:

1. Push the empty cart and then use the lever close to where it stops
2. Push it again to get it close to the ore and load the cart, then push it back again
3. Switch the tracks with the previously used lever, push the cart, then use the other lever close to the stop to switch tracks again
4. Push the loaded cart one more time to get it to the final position

How to Complete Night on the Great Mine (Part 2) in Honkai: Star Rail

The Mine Cart Operator’s puzzles in the second part of the Night on the Great Mine quest are more difficult involving more moves than the puzzles in Part 1.

To finish the first puzzle in Part 2, follow these directions:

1. Use the lever next to the empty cart and push the cart so it ends up at the blue stop
2. Pull the same lever and now push the loaded cart to the empty cart’s initial position
3. Switch the same tracks once again and then use the lever close to the empty cart (blue stop)
4. Push the loaded cart; when it stops, use the lever in the middle to switch tracks, and push the loaded cart one more to send it toward the yellow stop

Here are the instructions to finish the second puzzle in Part 2 of Night on the Great Mine:

1. Use the lever next to the empty cart and push the empty cart toward the dark stop
2. Switch the same tracks again and push the loaded cart
3. Go to the lever close to the empty cart and use it, and do the same with the lever next to the loaded cart
4. Push the loaded cart
5. Go back to the empty cart and switch tracks next to it, then push the empty cart to get it to its initial position
6. Switch tracks next to it one more time and send the cart toward the blue stop
7. Switch the tracks close to the loaded cart and then those close to the yellow stop
8. Push the loaded cart to the yellow stop

The final puzzle of the second part of this quest is the most difficult—here’s how to solve it:

1. Push the loaded cart, switch the tracks close to where it stops, and send the loaded cart to the dark stop
2. Use the middle lever and send the empty cart toward the yellow stop opposite from yellow ore deposits
3. Switch tracks close to the empty cart and send it toward the ore
4. Load it up and send it back
5. Use the middle lever one more time (tracks should form a straight line) and push the loaded car to the dark stop (it should stop in front of the other cart)
6. Use the middle lever again and push the first cart toward the dark stop opposite the miners
7. Use the lever close to the loaded cart at the dark stop and push the cart toward the yellow stop to finish the puzzle

How to Complete Night on the Great Mine (Part 3) in Honkai: Star Rail

If you’re getting tired of solving these mine cart puzzles, brace yourself—there are three more left in the third part of Night on the Great Mine.

The first puzzle’s solution is as follows:

1. Push the empty cart to the other yellow stop
2. Use the lever next to it twice and push the empty cart once again
3. Pull the same lever twice so that you can send the loaded cart to the yellow stop
4. Once again, switch tracks twice using the same lever and send the loaded cart to the other yellow stop
5. Pull the other lever (next to the ore) once and push the empty card to the dark stop
6. Return the tracks to their previous position, load the cart, and go to the other lever to make sure the tracks are aligned properly before you send the newly loaded cart to the yellow stop and finish the challenge

To complete the second challenge in Part 3, follow these directions:

1. Pull the lever that is next to the loaded cart parallel to the miners and then use the one next to the empty cart
2. Push the empty cart and switch the tracks back so that you can move the loaded cart from the blue stop to the yellow stop where the empty cart was
3. Switch those tracks again and push the loaded cart once more
4. Use the lever in the middle to switch tracks and push the loaded cart to the dark stop
5. Use the central lever once more and push the empty cart now, switch tracks next to it when it stops, and push it to the blue stop
6. Switch tracks using the middle lever and return the loaded cart back to the yellow stop, and then use the same lever again so that you can push that loaded cart to the other yellow stop next to the empty cart and finish the challenge

Finally, there’s only one mine cart puzzle left! Let’s get through with it:

1. Push the loaded cart, then pull the central lever, and push the empty cart
2. Use the central lever one more time and send the empty cart in the opposite direction
3. Use the lever next to the loaded cart and then the central lever so that you can send the loaded cart to the opposite yellow stop
4. Pull the lever next to it, send the loaded cart to the other yellow stop, come back and use the same lever again
5. Go to the empty cart and use the lever there so that you can push the empty cart to the ore supplies
6. Load the ore, return the cart, switch the tracks in front of it again, use the lever in the center, and push the empty cart so that it stops in front of the newly loaded cart on the other side
7. Switch the nearby tracks so that you can push the empty card toward ore and load it up
8. Push the latest loaded cart back, switch the tracks next to it and those in the center, and finally push the cart to the third yellow stop and complete the puzzle

If you complete all these puzzles, you will receive Basic Treasure and Bountiful Treasure chests, with a Precious Treasure chest at the end containing some Stellar Jade, Condensed Aether, and Credits.
