How to Spin

Spinning, or “air rolling” as some players call it, is simply rotating your car while in the air. To perform a spin, double-tap in the direction you want to spin in on the virtual joystick, then hold while you’re midair. If done correctly, you should start seeing your car spin away!

What is the purpose of spinning, you may ask? Well, we’re not entirely sure about that ourselves. There are all sorts of potential strategies for spinning, but which ones actually work seem to differ from player to player.

For starters, spinning in the air makes you seemingly unreadable. Opponents who are trying to look at your car to see what you might do next will be completely confused about your spinning movements. If you feel like your opponent is always one step ahead of you, spinning a lot may throw off their momentum!

We’ve also noticed that your aerial control is a tad bit tighter when spinning. We’re not sure why this is the case, but try it out when you’re dribbling a ball through the air. The increased control from air spinning should help you carry the ball further.
