The Auto-Battle and the Auto Quest features in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds allow you to progress the game without touching any keys or your mobile screen. Depending on which Auto-Battle feature you have enabled, your character will automatically use available abilities, skills, normal attacks, and similar things.

However, with a game like Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, where players beta test the game Soul Diver, a virtual reality game that transports the player to a fictional Ghibli-Esque world based on the previous entries like Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn and Wrath of the White Witch. You can turn off the Auto-Battle feature in Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds by tapping on the two cross-swords icons that you can find at the bottom of the game screen, right to the Companion’s tab.

Tapping on the crossed-swords icon with change the Auto-Battle mode to a different one. Keep tapping till you set it to Manual. At current, the game has three Modes associated with Auto-Battle:

  • Manual 
  • Semi 
  • Full

You unlock the Auto-Battle feature when you complete the quest where you get your first Companion. After completing the Companion tutorial, the icon will appear at the bottom of the game screen.
