How to Uninstall Genshin Impact[Uninstaller Bug Fix] and Its Audio Files

Reportedly, there are a few many players who want to re-install Genshin Impact but are stuck with the uninstallation process because of an unforeseen bug. And, by a bug, we are not sarcastically referring to the Genshin Impact character mascots who ask, “Are you really uninstalling the game”.

Some players can’t locate their uninstall file. Meanwhile, some get an error while uninstalling. The issue is real. And gladly, we also have a few fixes to resolve the uninstall bug in Genshin Impact. 

How to uninstall Genshin Impact when the launcher is bugged 

The best way to avoid the bug and uninstall Genshin Impact is by using the “uninstal.exe” file present in the game folder. 

To find the uninstall.exe file, right-click on Genshin Impact and select the Open file location option.

Look for the uninstall.exe file, when found, double click to start the uninstall process. Also, make sure you have exited from the game client. Players can also use Windows Control Panel to remove the game from their system.

Another way of avoiding this bug is by using an application like Total Uninstaller. If that doesn’t work, then manually delete the game files/folder from the installed drive.

Android Mobile Users

Android users can simply go to their OBB folder and delete the entire game file.

How to Uninstall Genshin Impact Audio Files

If you are one of the players who have way too many audio files installed in Genshin Impact. But want to delete it for a great many reasons, then follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Open the game.
  • Open Paimon’s Menu.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Language.
  • Select Manage Voice Over Files, located at the bottom right corner.
  • Select the audio file you want to delete and click on uninstall.
