As the Nintendo Switch lacks a system-wide achievement system, developers have started adding their own unique systems into their games. The same happened with New Pokémon Snap, as the Research Titles system is used to keep track of the player’s progress in the game, also giving them the chance to discover more unlockables as well upon completion of set tasks.
Here’s everything you need to know about Research Titles In New Pokémon Snap.
What Are Research Titles?
Research Titles in New Pokémon Snap are achievements that are unlocked in a variety of different ways. A few of these titles are unlocked by simply playing through the story and take snaps of Pokémon, while others require you to reach certain Research Levels in certain stages, unlock new paths, complete a task a certain amount of time, and so on.
While unlocking all Research Titles is not required to complete the story, doing so comes with some additional benefits. Upon unlocking, some Titles unlock the conditions to obtain other collectibles, so if you’re aiming to truly see everything New Pokémon Snap offers, you will have to unlock all of them.
