How to Unlock All Transformers in Transformers Battle Tactics

This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

If you are playing the recently launched Transformers: Battle Tactics as much as I do, then you are probably wondering how to unlock all the characters in the game and especially how to do it as fast as possible. In the end, we’re talking about well over 100 Transformers available for recruiting (I didn’t count them, but I am sure that the numbers are that high) and probably there will be a lot more coming in the near future.

You will need to complete a lot of fights in order to get there, and we have already shared with you a bunch of Transformers: Battle Tactics tips and tricks which should prove helpful – make sure you check them out before anything else.

Now back to today’s topic: how to unlock all characters in Transformers Battle Tactics? Well, that’s pretty simple in theory: you need to keep playing!

In other words, you will need three different resource types to even have a chance at unlocking the Transformers and all of them are dropped mainly during combat. So there’s nothing else that you can do than keep playing and fighting and, most importantly, keep winning because the more you win, the more resources you get.

There are three categories of Transformers that you can unlock in the game: Characters (the regular robots), Exclusives and Combiners.

The Exclusive and Combiners are the top dogs here, even though at the moment of writing there is just one Combiner available in the game. In order to craft it, though, you will need three Exclusives, so it’s obviously a difficult one to get. And the Exclusives themselves are not easy, since they require a lot of material bits and usually from two or all three categories.

Finally, you should join a league because you will receive crates (in what appears to be a random fashion) from your league mates, getting some extra materials that will help you a lot!

However, if you don’t want to wait and go through hundreds of battles to get the random material drops from defeating other Transformers, there is a way to rush things out a little bit: the Space Bridge where you can get some supply drops to aid your cause. You will get two different free drops from the game and you should make sure that you are there to get them as soon as they are available.

But most importantly, you can get any of the two premium drops which cost gold, but they will really give you the chance to quickly get the premium materials required to recruit all the Transformers. Of course, this costs real money, but in the end it’s up for you to decide what path to take and how long can you wait to get them all.

Good luck unlocking them all, especially the Combiners!
