Players can unlock and use characters by progressing through the game and using the in-game currency to buy them from the respective section of the Character menu.

You can unlock Boba Fett by completing the mission “The Copa-Khetanna” and then buying him from the Bounty Hunters section.

“The Copa-Khetanna” is one of the missions of Episode VI. To unlock the said episode, you first have to complete the previous episodes and complete all missions in them. 

Assuming you managed to unlock Boba Fett, you can use him by buying him for 500,000 Lego Studs from the Bounty Hunters section of the Character menu.

After that is done, you can use Boba Fett as a playable character in Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga.
