To unlock the Ducken breed in Monster Rancher 2 DX, you will need to get your hands on a few items, something that complicated the procedure quite a bit, making this breed one of the most time-consuming to unlock in the entire game.

The first item you need to unlock the Ducken breed is the Fun Can. This item is obtained by getting five diamond stickers, which are gotten randomly when opening cup jelly items. Keep feeding your monsters these items until you get all five stickers.

The second item you will need to unlock the Ducken breed is the Strong Glue. This item can only be found by checking a specific area in the Torles Expedition. This expedition is unlocked in the first week of February once you have a monster 210 Life or more, 50 Fame, and has reached Rank C. Make sure to send a monster with high Intelligence on an expedition, as the higher the stat is, the easier it will be for it to find items. The area you need to check out can be reached by turning right to the second crossroad from the start, then moving forward for five spaces, and then turning left until the tree. Getting the Strong Glue is random, so you may have to try a few times before you can find the item.

With the Strong Glue in your possession, you will have to get another Fun Can, and you will need to get five more diamond stickers. Once you get this item, you will be able to create the Quack Doll, which must be used as an item when combining two monsters to unlock the Ducken breed.
