While not exactly sprawling, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy has enough locations to explore that it may take a while to just get from point A to point B. At the beginning of the game, you will be forced to run around different locations, but you will soon be able to teleport to places you have already visited thanks to the fast travel mechanics.

How To Unlock Fast Travel

To be able to unlock fast travel in Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, first, you will have to explore your first ruins together with Patty and Tao. Once you return to the city, speak with Patty at her home to meet with Mr. Abelheim, who will ask Ryza to make some bombs and help him look after the people in the city.

Head back to your atelier to make the bombs via Alchemy, deliver them, and then visit the Weisheit Academy District, Here, talk with Zephine behind the counter to receive a map and finally unlock fast travel.

How Does Fast Travel Work?

Fast travel in Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is pretty straightforward. All you need to do is open the map and pick the location where you want to travel. Please note that you will need to visit this location at least once before it gets added to the fast travel menu.

Additionally, if you’re low on ingredients, you may want to travel on foot, as zipping around the map will inevitably reduce your gathering output, so beware.
