How to Unlock Ghost in Monster Rancher 2 DX

Monster Rancher 2 DX features a lot of different monster breeds, but the most interesting to use are those that have to be unlocked by meeting certain requirements and following a certain procedure.

Among these unlockable breeds is the Ghost breed. Here’s what you need to do to unlock it.

How to Unlock Ghost in Monster Rancher 2 DX

To unlock the Ghost breed, like for a few other breeds available in the game, you will first have to get a special item, the Stick. While it is not difficult to get it, it is rather time consuming.

To get the Stick, first, one of your monsters will have to die. Once this happens, you will be asked if you want to hold a funeral for it, which you should be doing to unlock the item. 140 weeks after the funeral, you will get the chance to upgrade the Altar for 5,000 G. After 140 more weeks, you will be able to renovate the Altar once again, but for an increased cost of 8,000 G.

After you have upgraded the Altar twice, on the March of the following year you will receive the Stick. Use the item when combining monsters and you will have unlocked the Ghost breed.
