How to unlock Griffin Knight in Fire Emblem Engage

Griffin Knight is an advanced class in Fire Emblem Engage. What that means is that, just like with all other advanced classes, you have to unlock it first to have your character become a powerful griffin-riding knight.

Unfortunately, if you’re just starting the game, you have to wait a bit before you can have a Griffin Knight on your team. This is due to the fact that all advanced classes require your characters to reach level 10 in their base class first.

To unlock Griffin Knight in Fire Emblem Engage, you need to upgrade your Sword, Lance, or Axe Flier to level 10. But that is not the only requirement. Additionally, you need to have weapon aptitude at level C for Staff and level A for either Axe, Sword, or Lance. Weapon aptitude or proficiency is gained by bonding with different Emblems and increasing your bond level.

When you meet these two requirements, all it takes is a Master Seal to go from a Sword, Lance, or Axe Flier to a Griffin Knight. Master Seals drop after you defeat enemies, or you can find them in treasure chests. You can also purchase them later at the Item Shop in Somniel for 2,500 Gold per piece.

Once you’ve taken care of all three of these elements, you are ready to unlock the Griffin Knight class in Fire Emblem Engage. Let us know how it goes, and make sure to check out our other Fire Emblem Engage guides.
