SaGa Frontier Remastered

How To Unlock New Game Plus In SaGa Frontier Remastered

SaGa Frontier Remastered defies a lot of the JRPG conventions we have seen in the past twenty or so years, but in some cases, the game developed by Square Enix does exactly what other RPGs have been doing for a very long time. Among these RPG staples the game features is the New Game Plus mode, which lets players carry over some of their progress in a brand new playthrough.

How To Unlock New Game Plus Mode In SaGa Frontier Remastered

To unlock New Game Plus mode in SaGa Frontier Remastered, there isn’t anything special you should be doing in your first playthrough. The only thing you need to do is complete the game, create a save file, and then pick the New Game Plus option while attempting to load the file.

As an added bonus in SaGa Frontier Remastered, you will also unlock the new Fuse scenario by completing the game. In this scenario, you will control the IRPO Patrolman to uncover more of the mysteries that have been left unsolved in the other campaigns.

What Is Carried Over In New Game Plus Mode?

In a New Game Plus mode playthrough, you will carry over all the items you have obtained in your previous playthrough, as well as Arts, Spells, and Gold. All characters will also retain their stats, including WP, JP, and HP. Do not think, however, that you can breeze through the game with your overpowered characters, as the battle rank of monsters is also carried over, so a few of them will put a fight, no matter your current stats.
