Among the unlockable monster breeds available in Monster Rancher 2 DX, and among the easiest to unlock, are the Niton and Undine breeds. Here’s how to unlock them.

How to Unlock Niton and Undine in Monster Rancher 2 DX

To unlock the Niton and Undine breeds in Monster Rancher 2 DX, you will have to meet a few requirements first. For starters, you will need to reach Breeder Rank 4 by winning story tournaments. Additionally, you will also need to get a Hopper, raise it to rank B, and have it fully rested and without stress from December to February.

At some point during the winter months, your Hopper will discover the hot springs in your ranch as well as the Undine Slate. Use this item when combining monsters, and you will get Undine. Niton will also be unlocked even though the game doesn’t tell you straight away.
