Among the unlockable breeds available in Monster Rancher 2 DX is Phoenix. Here’s how to unlock it.

How to Unlock Phoenix in Monster Rancher 2 DX

Like many other breeds in Monster Rancher 2 DX, you will need to find an item first and use it when combining monsters to unlock the Phoenix breed.

The item you need to unlock the Phoenix breed is the Fire Feather, which can only be obtained during the Kawrea Expedition by searching the volcano. You are able to embark on this expedition for the first time, you will need to have a D Rank monster with over 50 Fame in the first week of June. To embark on the expedition again, you will need a Rank B monster with over 50 Fame and 280 Life. As such, it is best to find the item during the first expedition, given the lower requirements, so make sure to save your game before embarking, as it is not guaranteed that your monster will find the Fire Feather when searching the volcano, even if it has high Intelligence.

Once you obtain the Fire Feather, use it when combining monsters to unlock the Phoenix breed.
