How to unlock the secret ending in Dead Space Remake

Once you’ve completed the game and have unlocked New Game Plus, you can carry over all of your upgrades, suits weapons, and credits to a New Game Plus. After starting New Game Plus, you will have to collect all 12 Marker Fragments that are scattered all around the USG Ishimura.

Unlike in the normal game you will complete at first, Marker Fragments are only available to collect in New Game Plus and can be found across each of the game’s chapters in certain locations.

After you’ve located and collected all 12 Markers, go to the third floor of the Crew Quarters to reach Captain B. Mathius’ Quarters. For some reason, the place is noted on your map as Lt. Commander V. Holt. Once you get there, you will find a shrine where you can put in all the Markers you’ve collected in a circle.

Afterwards, you will start hearing some creepy whispers that indicate you’ve completed that particular portion of the quest. You can now complete the rest of the game as you normally would, right up to its climactic ending, which will reveal Isaac’s escape from the Ishimura.
