To unlock Sumeru Daily Commissions in Genshin Impact, players first have to complete the Archon Quest, Chapter III: Act I – Through Mists of Smoke and Forests Dark, and then Archon Quest Chapter III: Act II – The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings. Once that is done, you will eventually unlock the Sumeru Daily Commission in Genshin Impact 3.0.

Even if you visit the Sumeru Adventurer’s Guild and talk to Katheryne before completing the said Archon quests, you will get the option to claim Daily Commission Quest rewards, Claim Adventure Rank Rewards, Dispatch characters on Expeditions, and a few normal dialogue options.
How to Set Daily Commission Location to Sumeru in Genshin Impact
Once you have unlocked Sumeru Daily Commissions, follow the below steps to set Daily Commission Quest default location to Sumeru –
- Open Genshin Impact
- Click on the book-like icon to open Adventurer’s Handbook
- Navigate to the Commissions tab
- Select Sumeru in the dropdown found next to the text “Choose the preferred region in which to do Daily Commission Quests.”
