Among these extra facilities available in the expansion is the cafè. Here’s how to unlock it.

How to Unlock the Cafe in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise

Just like every other extra facility in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise expansion, you will need to make some progress and design a certain number of vacation homes before you are given the chance to design the cafè.

After designing 12 vacation homes, talk with Lottie at the Paradise Planning office to be notified that she has obtained permission to build a new facility on the island. You will be given the choice between building a restaurant or a cafè. Pick the second option to start working on your new facility.

To complete the cafè, you will need to place one cash register, one table, and four chairs. Once you have placed the required furniture, speak with Lottie to complete your new facility, take the celebratory photo and open it for business. You will be able, from now on, to purchase food and drinks whose availability will change every day, so make sure to stop by the cafè every day to purchase all sorts of items!
