Unlocking Tie Fighter in Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga

To unlock Tie Fighter, players will have to complete the Speeder Springing mission in Mos Eisley, Tatooine. You can start the mission by speaking to an NPC known as Speeder Owner in the northeastern section of Mos Eisley. This NPC will elaborate to you that his Speeder has been stolen by two Weequays and have it locked in a garage.

The garage door is just behind the NPC and it can be unlocked by destroying the blocks to the left of its building. You should then come upon a puzzle that requires you to have a droid before you can complete it.

In most cases, players who are starting the game from Episode IV: A New Hope will only have to switch over to R2-D2 to activate it. It’s a pretty simple puzzle that requires you to rotate the outer wheel and align two small white bricks. After you’ve completed it, the door will open and the Weequays who stole the Speeder will come out. You must then fight them to get back the Speeder.

After defeating them both, head back to the NPC who owns the Speeder and compete the mission. Once this is done, you’ll unlock the TIE FIGHTER. Although you won’t own it just yet, you’ll need to purchase it for 30,000 Studs from the Holoprojector’s Ship menu.
