The huge character variety also helps quite a bit, as the six playable Champions are all very unique, and good at playing specific roles in combat.

Here’s everything you need to know to use Pyke properly in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story.

How to Use Pyke in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story

Pyke is a very unique Champion in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, and one that could be defined as a saboteur, as his ability set is clearly geared towards applying altered status to enemies while dealing tons of damage.

Pyke’s signature ability is Stealth, which makes it impossible for enemies to target him. This is extremely important for the character, as he has very low health and defense, and thus he is usually the first one to go down if enemies launch an offensive. Stealth also powers up the Ambush lane ability, Pyke’s strongest single-target ability.

As already mentioned, Pyke is great at weakening the enemy before finishing it off. He can apply Sunder and Magic Sunder with Mark Target, Riptide with Phantom Undertow and a few others once his abilities have been powered up. In addition, the Instant ability Serrated Slice can apply a random debuff on any enemy, so even the regular attack can weaken enemies considerably. As such, Pyke works great as a support character as well, aiding other offense-oriented characters like Miss Fortune and Yasuo greatly.

Below, you will find all the abilities Pyke learns in the game.

AbilitiesDescription
Serrated Slice (Instant)Deals low damage and applies a random debuff.
Ghost Shroud (Instant)Reduces all damage taken by 45% and prevents Stealth from being removed when hit until next turn. 20% chance to enter Stealth.
Carve (Instant)Deal low damage over 3 hits. Increases Attack Power by 20% for 1 action and reapplies Stealth if active. Generates 12 Overcharge.
Gift of the Drowned One (Passive)Pyke gains 20% less Health from Stamina, but gains additional Attack Power equal to 20% of his Stamina. 10% chance to gain Executioner from a crit, allowing Plunder and Death From Below to trigger their bonus damage regardless of the target’s health.
Ghostwater Dive (Lane)Grants Stealth. Removes 2 debuffs from self.
Mark Target (Lane)Applies Sunder and Magic Sunder.
Bone Skewer (Lane)Deals huge damage. Guaranteed to Crit on a Bleeding target.
Phantom Undertow (Lane)Deals low Magic Damage over 2 hits, Stuns the target for a short duration and applies Riptide. After performing an action, deals 752 Magic Damage and applies a random debuff.
Plunder (Lane)Deals moderate damage over 2 hits. If the target is below 30% Health, or Pyke has Executioner, instead deals high damage. A killing blow will grant an extra 25% Gold from the target.
Ambush (Lane)Deals moderate damage over 2 hits. If Stealthed, instead deals massive damage.
