The core gameplay mechanic revolves around players building their own decks and using them to battle other players. The deck-building aspect is left up to the players’ imagination, but some deck types stand out more than the rest.

Today, we will be talking about one of them, namely, the Superheavy Samurai Deck.

Superheavy Samurai Deck

Superheavy Samurai is a fan-favorite deck type that people have been having a lot of fun with in recent days, while players on the receiving end of this strategy have found a hard time dealing with it.

Here is a Reddit post from Reddit user u/Malik_0_0 showcasing a sample deck from this build:

The deck is built around the Superheavy Samurai cards as the centerpiece of the build, including a variety of other cards.

When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, players can change its battle position. This card can attack while in a face-up Defense Position. If it does, its defense is applied for damage calculation. If there are no Spells/Traps in the player’s graveyard, they can change this face-up Defense Position card to Attack Position. If this is done, add 1 “Superheavy Samurai Soul” monster from the deck to the player’s hand. They can only use this effect of “Superheavy Samurai Wagon” once per turn.
