Witch in Clash of Clans

Witch is one of the most powerful units in Clash of Clans. She can overpower single-defenses easily when used correctly, thanks to her summoned skeletons. With proper tanking in front of them, witches can also take care of splash defenses.

Here are some great attack strategies based around witches for different Town Halls:

Witch Slap (Town Hall 9)

At Town Hall 9, the maximum level of witches is 2. Level 2 witches are incredibly fragile, but witches can last longer with healers. Witch Slap strategies revolve around supporting witches with healers and breaking into the village’s core using a golem, heroes, and bowlers from Clan Castle donation.

Witches and healers are placed on the two corners of a size. After creating a funnel, drop your main army and use jump, heal, and rage spells to push them into the core.

GoBoWitch (Townhall 10 & 11)

After reaching Town Hall 10, players can train bowlers in Clash of Clans. Bowlers and golems synergize well with witches. GoBoWitch uses golems and witches at corners for funneling while heroes, bowlers, and a wall wrecker, if available, enter the core.

This army can be costly in terms of dark elixir as most of the army consists of dark troops. Instead of golems, players can use giants to save some dark elixir.

Zap Quake Witch (Town Hall 12)

Zap Quake Witch strategy works like a charm against popular ring bases with a compact core. With Lightning and Earthquake spells, players can take out Inferno Towers and Eagle Artillery placed in a tight area. Once the splash damage dealers are gone, the strategy is the same as previous ones.

Yeti Witch Spam (Town Hall 13)

Not everybody has time to master strategies. Some players would prefer to triple bases using spam attacks. Luckily, there are several spam attack strategies in Clash of Clans. Players can combine yetis and witches to annihilate a base just by spamming.

Earthquake Witch Slap (Town Hall 14)

Compared to Town Hall 9, players have more spell and army space at Town Hall 14. Players can use an advanced version of Witch slap by adding 8 Earthquake spells. With 8 Earthquake spells, players can open two different compartments in a layout. After opening the base, the log launcher, golems, witches, and heroes make their way into the core.
