Our Idle Factory Tycoon cheats and tips will show you how to do just that!
Idle Factory Tycoon, despite the name, is actually a pretty engaging game when you’re actively playing it. If you like organizing and having things “flow,” then you’ll fit right in with this game! Let’s get right to it with our Idle Factory Tycoon cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!
Keep your levels even!
Every aspect of your factory is important to your overall production, so you’ll need to make sure everything is leveled up evenly. If you neglect a certain part of your factory, you may end up creating a “bottleneck”, where your resources are being jammed up, slowing down production.
For example, if you upgrade your workstations a lot but leave your warehouse in the dust, you won’t have extra transporters to give your workstations the resources they need. This will inevitable create a traffic jam of sorts where your workstations aren’t making anything because they’re waiting for resources.
Remember that every tenth level for both the warehouse and market grant you an additional transporter, so you should try to level them up in intervals of 10.
Always have a Production Upgrade in queue!
After you unlock your third workstation, you’ll unlock Production Upgrades. These allow you to passively increase the worth of an individual item. Each item can be upgraded to bronze (+30% value), silver (+80% value), then finally gold (+150% value). The only things you need to perform this are a bit of money and some time, as each upgrade takes minutes to hours to finish.
Taking advantage of this is when you can really bring in the dough. If you upgrade an item all the way to gold, try to make that item a lot and any other recipe that requires the item in question. The base value of the item increases the crafted item’s value – for example, upgraded steel bars increase the value of drills, so this is the key to making bank!
Always have something upgrading in the queue, as the gold upgrades can take up to hours to finish.
Keep Ad Campaigns active!
At the same time you unlock Production Upgrades you will also unlock Ad Campaigns. If you tap the button on the bottom of the screen, you can watch a 30-second advertisement in exchange for four hours of doubled sales. This is way too good of an opportunity to pass up, so we highly recommend activating the boost if you have the time for an ad.
The best part of this is that you can extend the duration of it by watching more ads. The boost duration caps out at a certain length, so you don’t need to sit there watching ads all day. One ad is usually good enough!
This boost also affects your idle earnings as well, so if you’re going to be away from the game for a while you may want to activate the boost.
Sort out your workstations!
As you unlock more and more workstations, your general workflow will become more complicated. It may help to reorganize everything, especially if you’re trying to sell a specific product.
Remember that the further down the workstation, the longer it takes for your transporters to get to it. Taking that into consideration, you’ll probably want your very first workstation to sell your main product.
You probably want to sell the crafted items as well, but you’ll need to create a good “flow” for your transporters. The base item should be near the top, then the workstation that needs it will be right below it.
The most important thing to take away from this is that efficiency is the most important thing and you’ll need a well-organized workstation pattern into order to achieve maximum performance.
Combine skills and bonus campaigns for maximum profits!
Once you hit 1 billion for the first time, you’ll get your first skill point. Skills must be activated manually and they grant you special bonuses. The first skill you get is the “Speed Upgrade” which makes all workers work three times as fast for 30 seconds.
Use this while you have an ad campaign active to watch your profits soar! Speed Upgrade has a 15 minute cooldown, so use it whenever it’s available.
