This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Idle Tycoon: Space Company aka Idle Space Company is a brand new idle game for mobile that puts you in charge of exploring space. And we’re here to help you get the most out of this game by sharing a bunch of Idle Tycoon: Space Company cheats and tips on our complete strategy guide.

A bit less interactive than other games on mobile, Idle Space Company is perfect for short bursts of play time throughout the day. It’s not as entertaining that other games, but it does keep you curious about the next thing you’ll unlock and the next task you’ll receive.

And we’re here to make sure that you do well with all. So let’s not waste any time and instead let’s check out some Idle Tycoon: Space Company tips and tricks below!

Upgrade all the way to the evolution stage
You can level up the indicators to the right of the screen up to a certain level before you will have to go through the Evolution stage. This basically gives you the chance to level them up even more and therefore complete the missions.

As you start the game, you should level up these skills (not sure how to call them) equally, in order to complete the missions. But pretty soon you will be at a point where you will be able to simply level them up to the maximum level and then wait for the evolution to happen.

This is what you should do – buy all the levels and start the evolution as soon as possible, because you do have to wait 2 hours for it to complete (unless you spend money or watch ads to do it – and I highly recommend doing the latter to speed things up).

Switch missions if you have multiple available
Check out your Goal to the left of the screen, for each type of unlocked feature (Ship, Research, Mining etc). You usually have multiple goals to choose from and you can switch between them at any time.

If the current goal that you have selected is impossible to be completed, try selecting a different one. You might be able to complete that and grab the rewards which in turn will make your life a lot easier. I generally recommend completing the goals that reward you with books for training your staff as these are the most valuable in the long run.

Assign staff based on their skills
As soon as you unlock staff, you should start assigning them to each of the missions. This entire staff mechanic is a bit difficult since you have to go back and forth to check out the bonuses offered to various missions and leveling them up is also done from a different menu.

But this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take your time and decide what is the best staff member to assign to a specific mission (Rocket, Mining etc).

You have to do this by checking out their bonuses: when you tap a crew spot, a window will open, showing you all the crew members that you have. Under their name, you will see the effects they will have for that particular mission.

Now, it’s all a matter of selecting the ones with the highest number of bonuses – and keeping them divided evenly between the various needs for each mission. For example, in the Rocket mission, try to have staff that boosts Navigation, Acceleration and Maneuverability instead of two crew members that greatly improve just one of these.

Some of the staff members also come up with some disadvantages, decreasing the performance of a specific need or characteristic of that particular mission. Take them into account when deciding how useful they are!

Level up your staff
By completing goals in the game, you will collect books which in turn can be used to level up your staff members. This, in turn, increases their boosts in the missions they are assigned to. So make sure to constantly level them up – and do it evenly, to have solid crew members in all areas.

It’s important to have in mind that while their boosts increase when they level up, the skill reduction doesn’t change. So they do get better in the long run, making it easier for you to counter those disadvantages some come packed with.

Enter the wormhole
The classic “reset and start over” mechanic present in most idle games is present here as well. This time, it’s called a Wormhole and you can activate it when you reach a specific stage. You should do that immediately in order to get the income boost.

After going through the first Wormhole, make sure that you constantly reset your progress in Idle Tycoon: Space Company in order to make it easier for you to reach the higher stages. Usually, when the upgrades become extremely expensive and progress is very slow, that’s when you should go through the Wormhole again!

Watch ads to double income
After spending some time away from the game, you have the option to watch a video ad and double your income. This is something I recommend doing, especially if you’ve been away from the game for a solid amount of time.

It’s also worth watching ads to get the boost of resources when the game offers it (although it only lasts for 5 minutes). Also, if you don’t want to wait for the 2 hours to pass for your evolution to complete, you can also watch an advertisement for each evolution in order to speed things up. Highly recommended, especially if you have the resources available to quickly level up after evolution.

These would be, right now, our Idle Tycoon: Space Company tips and tricks to help you get the most out of the game. If you have other strategies or suggestions to help, don’t hesitate to leave a comment below.
