Illusion Connect to the Lover at Sea Event Guide

To the Lover at Sea is our latest running event in Illusion Connect. This event is fairly similar to the previous one, for Charlotte. The stages all have specific requirements, and the CP is equal for every stage. I am assuming it’s safe to say we won’t get a simple event like the Eternal Snowflake one anytime soon…

Illusion Connect To the Lover at Sea Event Period: 31st January 2021 (more like February 1st) – 19th February 2021

To the Lover at Sea Event description:

Basic mechanics:

In this event, players will have to complete the event stages, and collect Music Festival Tickets from daily instances to participate in the event. By clearing the stages, players can redeem amazing rewards (consisting of SSR equipment, Summon and Selected Tickets and an Emma Skin).

You’ll have to use your Stamina for this event, but don’t worry – I’ll break down everything so you will know exactly how much Stamina you need to spend and what to spend it on more effectively.

Event items explained:

In this event, there are just 2 items, so it’s easy to keep track of them. This is what they mean and how to use them:

Symphony Scores (you will use them to claim rewards in the Event Redeem Page)
Music Festival Tickets (the equivalent of Stamina for the event, used for clearing event stages)

How to get Symphony Scores:

Symphony Scores are the main items used for claiming rewards. You need to collect plenty of them to claim the rewards in the event redeem page.

Event redeem page: Perks -> Moonlight Sonata or Event button -> Redeem

– You can get Symphony Scores by clearing all the event stages
– You can get Symphony Scores from the event Daily Quests
– You can get Symphony Scores from the event Achievements
– You can get Symphony Scores by deploying the event-specific units in the event stages.

How to get Music Festival Tickets:

Music Festival Tickets work in the same way as pretty much every other event-bound Stamina item does. You can obtain them over time, or by completing daily tasks that would use Stamina.

– You can get 1 Music Festival Ticket every 9 minutes
– You can get Music Festival Tickets by completing Exploration
– You can get Music Festival Tickets by completing Daily Trials
– You can get Music Festival Tickets from the Normal Dream stages and Collapsed Dream stages

Illusion Connect To the Lover at Sea event stages bonus

The stages during this event are fairly easy, and if you’ve gotten familiar with the previous Charlotte event, then this one is going to be a breeze. However, if you’re new, I will explain every stage.

Additionally, like in every other event, there are 3 units that you can use for additional benefits, but as a new player, the chances of having them are pretty slim. Either way, here are the bonuses you get by using them:

These units you can deploy will have a chance to give you additional Symphony Scores:

Yasmine: Deploy her and she’ll get 300% Increased DMG Rate, 30% DMG RES Rate.
Abby: Deploy her and she’ll get 300% Increased DMG Rate, 30% DMG RES Rate.
Berial: Deploy him and he’ll get 300% Increased DMG Rate, 30% DMG RES Rate.

If you’re not completely sure what these stats mean, make sure you check out our stats guide, where I’ve explained each and every one of them.

The main goal is to complete the Normal Dream event stages and then move on to the Collapsed Dream event stages for better rewards.

Illusion Connect To the Lover at Sea event quests explained

You will have a total of 6 Daily quests and 15 Achievements, which give you quite great rewards. From the daily quests, you’ll be able to claim a total of 600 Symphony Scores, 40k Gold, 20k Crystals, 2 Random Common Gifts, 1 Random Rare Gift, and 4 Nightmare Bottles M.

To be honest, I would’ve loved to get some daily Diamonds, but the gifts are alright – especially since there are so many units getting Awakening nowadays.

From the Achievements, you’ll be able to claim a total of 500 Diamonds, 1900 Symphony Scores, 4 SSR Gear, and Emma, the new SR unit. To claim all the achievements (Emma included) you’ll need to log in for 8 days in total (which means every single day the event is running) and collect 12000 Symphony Scores in total.

How to complete all event stages

Below I am going to break down all the event stages. Some of them might be easier, while some are a tad bit more difficult. Nonetheless, all of them can be completed!

Before we start:

  • All of your units have equal CP, which actually means they are all the same level (300+). The only difference is the items and lens star (it will matter if a unit has no gear and if they are 3* or 6*).
  • The stages have different requirements, so you might need to re-try them until you succeed.

Normal Stages:

1. Nature – Deploy all the units to kill Nefir, no specific mechanics.
2. Forest – You have 99 Stamina to kill the boss as fast as possible. Don’t waste all of it or you’ll lose.
3. Lake – Deploy all the units to kill Nefir, no specific mechanics.
4. Fragrance – You have 140 Stamina to kill the boss as fast as possible. Don’t waste all of it or you’ll lose.
5. Enjoy – Deploy all the units to kill Phoebe, no specific mechanics.
6. Melody – You have 95 Stamina to kill the boss as fast as possible. Don’t waste all of it or you’ll lose.
7. Hypnosis – Deploy all the units to kill Phoebe, no specific mechanics.
8. Dirty – Deploy all the units to kill Phoebe, no specific mechanics.
9. Wings – The goal is to kill Ashwaya, otherwise she will keep summoning. Use strong AoE units or powerful line AoE or (Single Target units) and deploy them on the top side to get to her. It also works if you just kill Yasmine.
10. False Hope – Again, just like the previous one. Try to kill Ashwaya ASAP, otherwise, she will keep summoning. Use strong AoE units or powerful line AoE or (Single Target units) and deploy them on the bottom side to get to her. It also works if you just kill Yasmine.
11. Clean – Once again, try to kill Ashwaya ASAP, otherwise, she will keep summoning. Use strong AoE units or powerful line AoE or (Single Target units) and deploy them on the top side to get to her. It also works if you just kill Abby.
12. Variation – Rush to kill Ashwaya ASAP, otherwise, she will keep summoning. Use strong AoE units or powerful line AoE or (Single Target units) and deploy them on the bottom side to get to her. It also works if you just kill Abby.

Collapsed Stages:

– Unlocks on 4th February 2021 –

Event Rewards and how to claim them:

The rewards are pretty straightforward, but if you’re not sure what to go for, I’ll explain everything:

Mini Diva Emma Skin: Costs 3000 Symphony Scores (1x)
Selected Tickets: Costs 800 Symphony Scores per (10x, for a total of 8000 Symphony Scores)
Summon Tickets: Costs 350 Symphony Scores per (10x, for a total of 3500 Symphony Scores)
Lost Mirror: Costs 300 Symphony Scores per (20x, for a total of 6000 Symphony Scores)
Gold Partner Stones: Costs 200 Symphony Scores per (60x, for a total of 12000 Symphony Scores)
Blue Whale Hairpin SSR gear: Costs 5000 Symphony Scores
Tyrfing SSR gear: Costs 5000 Symphony Scores
Phoenix Petticoat SSR gear: Costs 4000 Symphony Scores
Boots of Peace SSR gear: Costs 4000 Symphony Scores
Gold: Costs 20 Symphony Scores per (500x, for a total of 10000 Symphony Scores)
Crystals: Costs 20 Symphony Scores per (500x, for a total of 10000 Symphony Scores)
Nightmare Bottle L: Costs 20 Symphony Scores per (500x, for a total of 10000 Symphony Scores)

If you want to make the most out of these, I’d recommend you get the following:

  1. Collect 8000 Symphony Scores to get the Selected Tickets.
  2. Collect 3500 Symphony Scores to get the Summon Tickets.
  3. Collect 6000 Symphony Scores for the Lost Mirrors.
  4. Collect 12000 Symphony Scores to get the Gold Partner Stones (which give you an SSR partner).
  5. Collect 3000 Symphony Scores for the Emma Skin.
  6. Collect 5000 Symphony Scores for the Blue Whale Hairpin (it’s a very good piece of equipment).
  7. Collect 5000 Symphony Scores for the Tyrfing.
  8. Finally, get the Boots of Peace and Phoenix Petticoat, which are great for collection if nothing else (even though they’re good).
  9. Spend all the remaining Symphony Scores on Crystals, then Gold, and then Nightmare Bottle L, depending on what you need the most first.

Bonus:

Since we’re here, if you’re as big a Nefir fan as I am, you’ll be thrilled to see a sneak peek at her upcoming skin (I absolutely love her). Also, there’s a new Phoenix Phoebe Skin which I am definitely going to get (it’s much better than the Bird of Paradise Phoebe skin I believe).

You can get Berial from the new BattlePass (if you didn’t notice yet), and here’s the BP updated shop.
