Infinity Blade III Getting Limited Time 47 Ronin Event

The upcoming 47 Ronin movie starring Keanu Reeves may still be a few weeks away, but Infinity Blade III players can help fight one of the movie’s signature villains in a new limited-time ClashMob event that will award a unique weapon upon completion.

For those who don’t know, ClashMobs are special events within the Infinity Blade game series (first appearing in Infinity Blade II) that can be collaboratively completed by the game’s entire community. Most ClashMobs involve whittling down the astronomically high health bar of a single baddie and this new 47 Ronin-inspired event is no different, pitting Infinity Blade III players against the Samurai Brute enemy from the film.

Successful completion of the event will award all participating players with the Brute’s Sword, a unique weapon which will only ever be attainable through the 47 Ronin ClashMob event. Any player who has installed the free Soul Hunter update for the game can participate in the new ClashMob event right now.

47 Ronin will debut in theaters on Christmas Day, December 25^th. Infinity Blade III can be purchased from the iTunes app store for $6.99.
